Quick Start with Astral in Just Three Steps

Method 1: Download from Official Website via QR Code

• Open the Astral official website: https://www.astralsec.com/.
• Click on the download icon and scan the generated QR code with your mobile phone. We recommend using a browser for scanning to avoid potential webpage access issues.

• Click on "Local Download" or "Normal Download" or "Download", then follow the prompts to complete the download and installation.

• The download and installation process may vary on different Android phone brands; please follow the respective prompts to complete the download and installation.
• If you are not using a mobile browser for scanning the QR code, you might need to click on the icon at the top right corner and choose "Open in Browser", then click on "Local Download" and follow the instructions to complete the download and installation.

Method 2: Download from Google Play

• Search for "Astralsec" directly on "Google Play", click on "Install", and the app will be downloaded to your device. You can find the downloaded app on your home screen.
• Alternatively, you can copy this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.astral.app and open it in your mobile browser.
• Clicking on the link will automatically redirect you to "Google Play", where you can click on "Install". After the installation, you can find the app on your home screen.

Note: To update the app to the latest version, please perform the update directly through Google Play.

Section 2: Sign up

Here are the steps on how to sign up an account in Astral APP:

1. Open the Astral website (www.astralsec.com) and go to the Astral homepage. Click the "Download" button in the top right corner.

 

 

2. Open your mobile browser, click on "Scan" and scan the QR code located in the top right corner of the Astral homepage. Choose the Android/iOS version for download and install Astral.

• Note: Due to legal restrictions, Astral may limit registration from certain countries. For details, please refer to the list of supported countries on the Astral website.

3. Open the Astral app and click on the "Home" tab, then select the "Sign up" button.

 

 

4. Create a personal account and choose your preferred registration method. You can register using your email or phone number.

 

• Note: Please use the email address and phone number that can receive messages to register. Unable to receive text messages/emails please check（Can't receive SMS/Can't receive emails）

5. Choose either "With Phone" or "With Email" input your email/phone number, and click "Send code". You will receive a 6-digit code in your email or as an SMS. Enter this code within 30 minutes.

 

 

6. Create a secure password for your account and click the "Sign up" button.

 

• Note: For account security, make sure your password is at least 8 characters long and includes both uppercase and lowercase letters and at least 1 digit.

7. Congratulations! You have successfully created an Astral account and can now begin your transactions.

2. Depositing After KYC Identification

Section 3: How to complete KYC

Here are the steps to complete KYC:

 

1. Click on the profile picture in the top left corner of the Astral app and log in to your Astral account.

• Note: New users registering with Astral will have their identity shown as "Unverified". Users with unverified identities will have restricted trading permissions. You can not change this after completing the KYC process.

 

2. In the "Identity verification" section, you can see your current verification level, which is "Standard identity verification". Click the "Start Now" button to initiate the KYC process.

 

3. At the top of the "Personal information" section, select your country or region.

 

4. Fill in your "First Name" and "Last Name" . Choose the type of identification document you can provide (ID card/Driver license/Passport/Other) and enter your identification document number as instructed.

 

• Note: Ensure that all the information you input matches the details on your identification document. After submission, you won't be able to make changes until verification is completed.

5. Click the "Continue" button, prepare your identification document, and click "Start verification" after seeing the prompt to begin identity verification.

 

• Note: This interface is for temporary use, and no operation for a long time will be regarded as verification failure.

6. Choosing your nationality and confirming that Astral supports your country. See details (List of countries supported by Astral)

 

7. After selecting the ID type - [Passport]/[Driver's License]/[Identity card] button, choose an upload method, and you can complete them by clicking take photo or upload file.

 

8. According to the instructions, please upload the front and back of the identity card respectively.

• Note: If you select [Take photo] and the system prompts that your camera cannot be accessed, we will not be able to verify your identity. Please go to your permissions settings and allow camera access.

9. According to the sample demonstration, perform [Face verification], click [Start], and the system will start face verification. Be careful not to wear hats, glasses or use filters, and make sure the photo is well lit.

10. After completing the above process, please wait patiently, Astral will review your application in time.

• Note: The number of KYC authentications is limited to 3 times. If it exceeds 3 times, the verification limit will be displayed. You need to contact the customer service background to reset the number of times (revert to 3 times); the valid time of each verification is 30 minutes, and if it exceeds 30 minutes, it will be recorded as once. It is also counted as a rejection by the background; within the 30-minute validity period, you can refresh or repeatedly enter the same link to continue; during the verification period, please do not refresh or exit the interface.

3. Depositing Digital Assets into Astral

Take USDT as an example:

1. Open Astral APP and select the [Assets] - [Deposit]；

2. Select the coin you need to deposit [USDT] ；

3. Select the [Chain name] - [Copy address]；

4. Then open other platforms or wallets, select withdraw, paste in the address you just copied in Astral, follow the prompts to fill in the relevant information and confirm.

Note: When choosing a deposit chain name, other exchanges or wallets [withdraw/withdraw chain name] should be consistent with the chain name of Astral deposit. For example, both are USDT-ERC20, otherwise cryptocurrencies will be lost.

 

Some cryptocurrencies require a tag, such as XRP, which is marked below the deposit address, usually with a string of numbers, and the deposit address and tag must be filled in when depositing these cryptocurrencies, otherwise cryptocurrencies will be lost.
